A study published in 2009 by Dr. Bill Hessman showed that testing for and removing BVD-PI cattle can decrease your Cost of Gain up to 200%. This was for elevated risk cattle in a starter yard for 66 days. Take a look at the chart here, these numbers are from 2009.
